The sun has finally poked its head out from behind the Tassie wintery clouds and Spring has truly sprung!
Like most, we are extremely excited that the outdoor season is upon us and with that comes a plethora of exciting things to see and do in beautiful Northwest Tasmania.
So book your caravan or tent into The Farm Cradle Country and then hit the road to explore, dance, see and do all around our amazing part of this island state.
Mount Roland Folk Festival, Sheffield - Nov 15 - 17. 2024
The Mount Roland Folk Festival will run from the evening of Friday 15 Nov until Sunday 17 Nov finishing around 4pm. The three main venues are the Sheffield town hall, the Sheffield Uniting church and the Drill hall.
The Festival is a showcase of acoustic and folk music genres featuring local and interstate musicians as well as dance, poetry, workshops and master classes.
THE MAGIC OF THE MINUSCULE 3-9 NOVEMBER
Mural Fest is both a mural art competition and festival held annually in Sheffield, Tasmania’s ‘Town of Murals’. The first of its kind in the world, the competition is held in Mural Park, a purpose-built ‘outdoor art gallery’ in the heart of Sheffield, which attracts artists and visitors from around Australia and the world.
For even more art inspiration head on down to the Sheffield Art Gallery and check out their latest members exhibition titled “ Famous Artist Reminagined”. For the month of November. 11am - 4pm daily. 6 Pioneer Crescent, Sheffield.
Redwater Creek Steam Railway train rides. This 60cm gauge steam train runs on the first full weekend of every month, in full view of one of the most scenic mountain vistas Australia has to offer. 10:00am - 3:00pm Spring Street, Sheffield TAS.

GardenFEST Nov 23, 2024 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. An open garden trail across Kentish with eight gardens open all weekend. Visit the main ticket sales at 72 Main Street to buy a ticket and collect a garden map to plan your visit. The gardens are open all weekend and tickets are valid for all gardens.
There’s something for everyone this November out and about in the Kentish region.
