Kayak, swim, row, picnic or BBQ at Lake Barrington. A peaceful location with calm cool water and surrounded by beautiful tree lined hills. The Farm Cradle Country campsite is just 2.4km up the road from The Lake Barrington International Rowing Course.
TROUT, RAINBOW TROUT & NATIVE BLACKFISH
There are many accessible lakes and rivers surrounding Sheffield, Wilmot, Railton and Moina. For angling hot spots try River Leven, Meander River, Lake Rowallan, Hunstman Lake, Brushy Lagoon and Four Springs Lake.
MOUNT ROLAND, MOUNT CLAUDE & VAN DYKE
Whether you like hiking, road tripping or site-seeing in general, the mountains surrounding our farm here on the Cradle Country Trail are spectacular. With many short and long walks with varying grades available.
GIRLS WEEKEND AWAY
Grab the girls, your camping gear and some bubbly and break away from the everyday. Recharge your batteries and enjoy the company of your closest friends in the beauty & peace of nature here on the farm. With many local activities, walks and Instagram-able moments here in the North West, its the perfect place to kick up your heels and throw on your boots for some genuine country downtime.

Just a short drive to so many different hiking locations, The Farm Cradle Country is the perfect location for the hiker who wants to maximise their time exploring instead of driving to their destination.
HOUSE OF ANVERS
Calling all chocolate lovers! House of Anvers has a delicious cafe with many sweet and savoury delights. Fancy a takeaway treat, then check out the onsite retail shop. Be sure to head to the viewing window to see the House of Anvers team making their chocolate goods.
CHRISTMAS HILLS RASPBERRY FARM
Take a walk around the grounds, sit down to a hearty meal in the cafe or purchase some delicious berry goods for the road direct from the farm.
RIDE WILD MERSEY
Adventure on two wheels at a variety of challenge levels ranging from Green, Blue to Black. With both the 16kms Warrawee & Railton, trails open and the completion of the Sheffield trail due in December 2020, there is endless riding, epic views and loads of adventure on this purpose built mountain bike trail.
ASHGROVE DAIRY DOOR
Tasmania’s most indulgent dairy destination with a must-see new visitor centre. Enjoy breakfast or lunch with a delicious pasture to plate menu including a choice of five deluxe cheese toasties. Go all out with truffle fondue, a High Cheese (like high tea for cheese fanciers) or a Cheesy Flight (like beer tasting without the fuzzy head). Treat the kids to freshly made gelato. Watch the cheesemakers in action from start-to-finish behind glass panels or learn about Ashgrove’s unique pasture to plate philosophy in the interpretation centre.

DEVILS GULLET
Perched upon a Dolerite cliff in the Central Highlands of Tasmania, Devils Gullet features a short alpine walk of around 30 minutes return to a lookout platform overhanging the cliff and offering spectacular views.
MOLE CREEK CAVES
Take a tour underground and see the amazing reflective pools, stalactites and stalagmites or for something the whole family can enjoy, check out the Glow Worm tour.
LEVEN CANYON
The powerful Leven River has cut through steep, forested country to form the Leven canyon. The scenery and peaceful nature of the canyon is something that must be experienced. There are two amazing lookouts both easily accessible by a 1.2km circuit track.
CRADLE MOUNTAIN
Cradle Mountain offers a world-class system of walking tracks to explore that ranges from very short easy strolls to the legendary Overland Track. Keep your eyes open and you may even see our state's very own Tasmanian devil or other native animals like quolls, platypus, echidna, wombats and the highly inquisitive black currawong.
KENTISH MUSEUM
Step back in time with history from Sheffield and the surrounding Kentish region.
SHEFFIELD STEAM AND HERITAGE CENTRE
A fun and educational family day out. Ride a real life steam train or check out the machinery museum for a glimpse into the past.
WALLS OF JERUSALEM
Located in the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, the Walls of Jerusalem is a wild and inspiring alpine park with a labyrinth of highland lakes, craggy mountains and elegant stands of pure pencil pine forests. Its stunning landscape of precipitous Dolerite peaks, moraines and tarns are the result of glaciation.
